This is a unique and exciting business currently inactive since Covid. This is a Tagalong adventure business aimed directly at recreational boating persons, that is trailable 5 to 7 metre outboard powered boats. We operate the lead boat from Cooktown North either to Cape York or Portland Roads with the trips of length either 12 days or 18 days. The Permits for each trip are obtained by our Business. Our business has all the required licences, GBRMPA permits, commercial marine Class 2 etc and our boat is currently operating in survey under the required marine licence. The Business comes with a 6.8 metre alloy hull commercial boat fitted with a 150 hp Mercury outboard and auxillary.

We leave Cooktown and head north camping on off shore islands each night. Every one who has been on a trip with us have stated without hesitation that it was the greatest adventure they had ever had !

We charge per boat and per head and it is excellent value as it works out at about $2-$300 per head per night which is very competitive in this niche market. As well as the equipment and boat, the Business comes with its own website and plentiful printed promotional material. All promotion was originally by direct mail. We would be happy to assist in organising the first trip with the new owners !
