The Trulli, dating back to the eighteenth century, has been recently renovated by arch. Paolo Ricci, who has been able to enhance the structure of the complex, respecting its natural conformity and its original material. The original external stone has been refurbished thanks to the conservative restauration made without plaster, in order to protect the entire structure from humidity and so to enjoy it all over the year, not only in summer time. The wonderful outdoor swimming pool is directly dug into the tuff powered by the underground well and by the adjacent cistern; it is particularly suggestive, thanks to the shades of greige and pink of the karstic land which surrounds the structure. The Masseria Montereale, with its century-old olive trees all around the trulli, makes even more suggestive.
