Easily reached and in an enviable location, the villa is provided with all the necessary services in the nearby historic centre of Arezzo (3km; 5') and allows easily moving throughout the whole Tuscany to visit its most beautiful and known cities: the medieval hamlet of Anghiari (29km; 40'), the Etruscan Cortona (31km; 45'), Montepulciano with the famous Nobile (57km; 55'), the papal Pienza (63km; 1h 5'), the wonderful Siena (65km; 1h 15'), Montalcino with the exception Brunello (74km; 1h 25'), the Renaissant Florence (78km; 1h 10') and the turreted San Gimignano (124km; 1h 40').
The most convenient airports to reach the property are Perugia Sant'Egidio (91km; 1h 20'), Firenze Peretola (98km; 1h 10'), Pisa Galilei (159km; 1h 50'), Roma Ciampino (235km; 2h 25'), Roma Fiumicino (250km; 2h 30') and Milano Linate (375km; 3h 45').
DESCRiPTiON OF THE BUiLDiNG, STATE AND FiNiSHES
The manor house is laid out onto three above-ground floors for a total of nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Access to the piano nobile (first floor) is through an external staircase linked with the panoramic terrace.
The villa has been masterfully restored, preserving its typical characteristic by the use of prestigious and rigorously original materials. Floors made out of high-quality terracotta and parquet (especially in the night-area), but there are also sections covered in wood.
Other rooms were renovated keeping a rustic appearance, leaving stone walls exposed and wooden beams up in the ceilings. Other rooms are covered in coffer ceilings, masonry barrel vaults and/or painted ceilings. Particularly interesting are the sliding doors, framed in arches and decorated with floral motives. Stone fireplaces have been restored and left in their original spots.
Two small annexes (a greenhouse and a storage room) complete the property.
EXTERNAL AREA
The villa is located in an extremely panoramic position, surrounded by approx. 10,000 sqm of land, partially used as a garden dotted by trees and flowers. The panoramic terrace offers an incredible view over the historic centre of Arezzo, with its cathedral towering on the rooftops.
