Moskito Island is a 120 acre privately owned island in the British Virgin Islands, located in close proximity to Necker Island. In January 2007, Sir Richard Branson purchased Moskito Island. His primary purpose was to preserve and protect the natural beauty and ‘essence’ of the island, while creating a community of likeminded homeowners.
