What’s more, an attractive new apartment development, designed to give the impression of a traditional village, is currently underway in one of the surrounding neighbourhoods. With this, there will be enough people living in the vicinity to avoid any sense of isolation, while retaining all the peace, quiet and privacy you could wish for.

With its wooden gables and characteristic dormer windows, the house emanates rural charm. Inside, however, the property is surprisingly modern and has all the comforts you could wish for. A tour of the house

Next you come to the fantastic open plan, fully equipped kitchen diner with granite work tops and island and views over the garden. The accompanying living space is extremely spacious, yet homely and inviting, with a wood burning stove in one corner. The underfloor heating is powered by both the central heating and an electric version with timer, which can be operated separately. The bedroom has various fitted wardrobes and cupboards and French doors onto the covered veranda.

At the rear of the house is the garden room with French doors into the garden and built-in sauna approx. 2 x 2 metres in size – enough space to accommodate six people. The sauna is heated via both a 9 kW electric heater and infrared radiators. The garden room is currently being used as a relaxation space; however, at 3.4 x 5.3 metres in size, it could easily accommodate fitness equipment for a home gym.
Office and storage room
The ground floor has another spacious room (4.5 x 2.7 metres), currently being used as an office. With its own separate entrance and large window overlooking the parking area, this room would be ideal for a home business/ (healthcare) practice and receiving clients. Alternatively, with plumbing already in place for a wash basin, the room could also be used as an extra bedroom. Finally on the ground floor is a separate downstairs toilet with wash basin, a pantry and a storage room. The storage room can only be accessed via the garden which makes it the perfect place for keeping bicycles.
Also in the hall is the main fuse box, which includes the connection point for the home automation system and the fire and intruder alarm systems.
Unique staircase to the other bedrooms

An attractive mock oak staircase leads to the first floor, where the large landing is divided into two areas leading to a total of four bedrooms. The largest of the four, on the south side, is 3.7 x 6.6 metres. Bedrooms two and three both measure 3.5 x 3.5 metres and bedroom four 2.8 x 3.0 metres. All the bedrooms have attractive dormer windows which, along with the sloped ceilings, make for extra character and charm. The first floor also has a large bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet.
