This Danish-inspired property has undergone a total renovation consisting of a luxurious expansion and reconstruction, and now features material of the highest quality. Every aspect has been carefully considered with regard to its design and function, from the major reconstructions to the smallest details. It is therefore hardly surprising that only the best products of well-known brands, as well as exquisite carpentry have been selected. These include a kitchen by Bulthaupt and Gaggenau, storage features, such as custom-built ash wood wardrobes with leather decorations, custom-built inner and outer doors by Bovall, the big 40 cm wide floor boards of Douglas pine from Dinesen and the large Eldoform fireplace, to name a few (see below under the room description heading, for additional information). This work was performed throughout 2015 and continued well into 2016. In actuality, this project was an entirely new construction, as only parts of the outer walls and roof truss remain from property before the project.
A pool house with sunny western exposure was built in 2015 in conjunction with the renovation of the main house, using the same matching high-quality materials. This building has panoramic sliding doors out to the pool area and patios, and also contains a sauna, shower, lavatory, spa and a storage area for cushions. Like the garage and the storage building, the pool house has a lovely Sedum roof.
The garage accommodates one car and also includes storage space. In addition, two additional cars can be parked on the driveway inside the wall, with a gate operated by both remote control and KNX home automation.
