Halcyon Villa is a haven of tranquility nestled amongst the sandy shores of Anguilla with commanding views of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea. An architect’s home that has been described by design savvy visitors as “Quintestially Caribbean”.
Halcyon is modeled on vernacular Anguilla building forms in a contemporary manner where living relates to the climate, trade winds, sun and nature — large sliding and folding door disappear into the walls and the distinction between indoor and outdoor merges seamlessly into living in the Caribbean Style. As you approach the entrance to the home, a mature drought resistant tropical garden, you pass through a serene courtyard to discover the panoramic view of the sea with the islands of St. Barts, St. Martin and Saba before you.
By day, the view with the changing colours of the sea and land is subtle entertainment; at sunset to dusk it is mesmerizing with the luminous glow of the sky; at night with the lights of St. Martin, sea vessels in the channel, the soft landscape lighting, and twinkling stars above, it is magical.
