We present You a unique residence located on a beautiful, forested plot, combining avant-garde modernity with traditional high-quality, natural materials.
The place is located just 20km away from the center of Warsaw.
The residence was designed by the renowned architect Małgorzata Romanowska. Romanowska, as a senior architect, works every day in one of the best Polish studios - Kuryłowicz & Associates, she is the co-author of many of the most outstanding elements of the urban architecture of Warsaw.
The design project was aimed to create a specious, modern and very functional interiors at the same time.
The house is located on a forested plot covered with old trees (over 50-years-old pine trees), the owners wanted to keep as many trees as possible, while ensuring adequate sun exposure. That is why the architects took care of large, modern window surface to provide an effective natural light in the house.
The building was provided with high-class aluminum joinery (graphite color)with three-ply glazing units class P4, in addition covered with thermal insulation coatings.
The house solid base has a classical form and it is distinguished by high-quality materials. The roof and the part of the facade is made of natural larch shingles, produced in the Podkarpackie region using only traditional methods (manual splitting of wood along the grain, therefore we may feel the impression that the house create an unity with the surrounding nature). The facade of the house is covered with natural sandstone. The sandstone seeps through the glass walls into the building and creates a unique coherence between what is outside and inside the house. Part of the facade is also covered with mineral plaster and planed spruce boards.
High quality materials has been used in the interiors as well; black granite (floor elements, fireplace, kitchen, countertops, some door frames), natural smoked oak, Italian stoneware. The bathrooms are equipped with high-class sanitary facilities (Villeroy & Boch, Meridiana, Koło).
The consistency of the interior designe with the external façade is provided by materials such as glass (glass floor - footbridge leading to the main bedroom, glazed walls and internal doors covered with a special glass coating) as well as steel and natural sandstone elements.
The interior design was prepared by the architect Małorzata Romanowska herself, so there is no chance of randomness.
