Villa Adler - a luxury private Villa in located in a prestigious area of Jurmala, in Bulduri, sitting on the very shore of the Gulf of Riga among pine forests. On the adjacent forest territory, a well-kept park is laid out. The current owner of the Villa acquired the land in 1996 at an auction organized by the state. In czarist times, this place was chosen for the pavilion of balneology, where all vacationers were provided with recreational water and other procedures. In the times of the First Republic, this territory continued recreational services, which is proved by the archive data. In the Soviet times, thanks to the outstanding natural data including magnificent wind rose and a location, health-improving function still persisted and was known as a health resort of the all-Soviet scale.
In 1997, the leading British architectural bureau The Syntax Group was hired to design and construct the Villa, boasting a high international level and receiving multiple professional awards multiple times for the outstanding architectural projects and their implementation. An imposing structure named by its creators "Adler Hall”, is surrounded by the beach from the northern part, where an active resort life is bustling with numerous tourists making promenades all year round. The Villa’s building forms a composition out of several three-level areas joining single-level areas. The building is based on conditional symmetry. The entrance to the building is having an area as the main accent. The main façade is having a terrace in its front, reachable via rampant or stairs at the center of the façade.
