Let us take you on a journey that starts in the Viking age when this magical manor was still a dream come true, and the Vikings inhabited the land where it now stands. Through the years, a smaller residential building grew to the manor we see now. Gerhardus de Kouwe, a vassal of the Danish King, was the first owner of the manor in the 13th century. Since then, the manor served as a home to several noble men such as the world-famous explorer Otto von Kotzebue who lived here for several years in between his traveling in the 18th century.
The main house and service houses next to it were carefully restored from top to bottom to serve as a small boutique hotel. There are 20 rooms together and a possibility to build more. The Kõue manor has received multiple awards, most notably the Best Designer Hotel award in 2016, being the first Estonian hotel to receive this honor.
The listing includes the beautiful 1597 m2 main house boasting six fireplaces and 11 unique guest rooms with attached bathrooms.
The 585 m2 coach house adjacent to the main building offers nine more rooms, 73 m2 of balconies, a small spa with an indoor pool, and yoga/workshop areas for guests.
A 385 m2 stable house in manor park acts as a perfect spot for events and celebrations. The charming 42 m2 garden pavilion is located next to a pond and is inviting for more special gatherings during warmer seasons. The property offers over 15 hectares of land to use with different opportunities and old buildings still waiting to be transformed to their former glory.
The manor is 50 km from Tallinn. Getting there by car takes only 40 minutes from the city center.
