This fantastic timber home occupies an outstanding location on a beautiful slope that leads down to the Indalsälven River. It is a wonderful place to live having a great sense of space and airiness throughout, and views that peer down on lovely alpine meadows. The house has been renovated in a tasteful way that includes beeswax treatment of the hundred-year-old wooden floors, and gleaming green Liskiffer slate flooring from Norway, turf roofs from Nittedal and black facades treated with pine tar to create a unique stylish look.
Upon entering the house, you will encounter a hall with slate floors, wardrobes with sliding doors, tasteful old wood furnishings and hinges and other fittings of black wrought iron. There is plenty of storage for outdoor clothing here, as well as providing space for the geothermal heating system of the house and extra water heaters. From the hall you enter a large living room that is open up to the roof ridge where the roof rests on stately logs.
