A bespoke home by Anwyll Fogo Architects of Halifax, 325 Indian Point Road is a modern interpretation of a classic, Lunenburg County, Gothic Revival. With steep pitched, multiple gables, a bold, contemporary design is conveyed both inside and out. A large central living area is flanked by colonnaded verandahs to oceanfront views on one side, and professionally designed exterior grounds by English Garden Design to the other. A gas fireplace partially divides the kitchen from the living room with a dining room open to both. The side entry-cloak room has a bath with custom shower to the right and at the opposite end of the main floor is a private family-den media room, with doors to the rear garden. All the principle rooms on the main floor have beautiful ocean views. The ceilings on the main and second floors are 10 ft., and the doors are 8 ft. in height. The floors are clear maple throughout with the exception of the baths which are marble tiled. The kitchen has granite counters and also features: a Sub-Zero Refrigerator, Electrolux Pro gas range, and a Bosch dishwasher. The windows throughout are from Andersen. The second floor has three bedrooms, which revolve around a common area serving as a reading lounge. There is a family bath for the two guest rooms, and the master suite has a large walk-in closet and ensuite bath featuring custom shower, soaker tub and separate water-closet. This home has a high basement with large laundry-storage area and down the hall an exercise room. There is a garage at the top of the drive, and across the road on deeded oceanfront, a boathouse for equipment and gear. The seawall is in excess of 125 ft. and there is a 75 ft. wharf with floating dock and two moorings. There is both water and electricity at the end of the wharf - and enough off-street parking to be the envy of the village. Indian Point has gentrified with time, but its casual coastal character remains in tact. For the serious sailor, this is the ideal location and home.
