这座经过全面翻新的1920年代房屋拥有您所需的一切,以提高生活质量。
his beautiful 1920s home has been totally renovated with an eye toward preserving the style of the period, known as Swedish Grace, also known a 1920 neoclassicism, and combining it with modern, functional design. There are many lovely details from the past, such as stucco decorations, mirror doors, herringbone parquet floors and working fireplaces, and these have been meticulously renovated, as have all surface and floors, regardless of the level of the house on which they may be found.
The new modern kitchen, which currently shares an open layout with the dining room, which, in turn, forms an enfilade with the library and living room, results in the kitchen being integrated with all of those rooms, making it a pleasant place to prepare food and at the same time, socialize with guests. The bathroom and the guest lavatories are also new and exhibit modern design. A big bathroom has also been created on the basement level. That level also includes a large laundry room and a TV room with an acoustically insulated ceiling. The rest of the basement level has not been excavated, so as to provide room for expansion if a future owner wants to create more space. Three of the five rooms on the upper floor are used as bedrooms, with one of the previous bedrooms now having become a walk-in closet. On this floor, there is also a family room with a balcony from which you can catch glimpses of Öresund Sound. The insulation and finishing of the loft level, which is open to the roof ridge, has created two additional rooms – a guest room and an office or family room, and a new staircase has been built to make the loft level more accessible, which has also created more living space.
Exiting from the dining area through the fully-glazed French doors, you enter onto a large raised wooden deck with an outdoor seating area and an outdoor kitchen which has a liquified petroleum gas grill, refrigerated boxes, a wine cooler and a refrigerator built into a stainless steel unit, as well as running hot and cold water and a large granite counter for socializing around the bar. A few steps down, and you’ll be in the pool area, which has the same kind of wooden deck around the entire pool, as well as a frosted glass safety fence. Like the house, the pool is heated by district heating, and in the summer, the sheet metal winter covering fits neatly under the raised part of the wooden deck. This kind of intelligent solution can be found in the other alterations to the property. The two-car garage is also new and attractive, with automatic doors. You can even wash your car indoors, thanks to the drain in the floor. Similarly, that property includes a small heated structure, increasingly known as an attefallshus that has been recently built and is used for storage. This structure has ceramic tile floors and tiled walls, as well as recessed ceiling spotlights, and is furnished with shelves, wardrobes and work counters with a sink. Both the garage and the storage structure have windows that front on the garden with its lawns, trees and bushes, in addition to the large wooden deck and pool. The property is a corner lot, and is separated from the street by a wall, and from the neighbours by a wooden fence. These features are also new, as is the gate camera and gate code, and the surveillance cameras and alarm system installed both on the grounds and in the house.
Both the renovation project and the construction of the new buildings took place in 2015 and 2016, and all the documents and certificates are available for inspection.
One block down from the house, you have Pålsjö Skog, a forested nature reserve and popular recreation area, with three jogging tracks and other facilities. The house is also close to the shore and bathing. Just walk about 500 metres down Johan Banér Street until you come to Öresund Sound, which is also where you’ll also find a shorefront promenade for walks along the sea to the centre of town and commercial streets.
The house was planned and designed by the architect Alfred Arvidsson and the construction firm of Eriksson & Co. This house is classified as a valuable building, according to the local building preservation programme.
This totally renovated 1920’s home has everything you need for a great quality of life.
