Chalet Goupil is an absolutely charming chalet, situated on the outskirts of Morzine town, in the village of Essert Romand.
This sweet property is of recent construction (2011) and is in perfect condition! The main entrance is on the ground floor, with hallway and fitted cupboards leading to the generous laundry room/cellar, offering plenty of practical space. There is also an integral garage on this floor, which would lend itself very easily to a quick and easy conversion into a large en-suite bedroom.
Upstairs, there is a delightful open-plan kitchen and living space. The kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons, and the living/dining area is super-bright, with large patio doors opening onto the wonderful south-facing terrace. The ceiling is open to the eaves, giving a real feeling of airiness and space. There is a double bedroom with built-in storage, and a generous bathroom with bath tub, sink and WC. A fold-down ladder leads to the mezzanine, providing valuable extra storage space, or an occasional guest bedroom. With the addition of a more permanent staircase, the mezzanine could be more readily used as a full spare bedroom or office space.
