The KOE126 Loft has been furnished by M.C. Gollub, an interior designer from Berlin. The idea was to create a modern, urban living space which has the convenience of a high end establishment combined with furniture and accessories with a personal touch. The result was a mirror to the colorful, multi cultural city of Berlin, which is plenty-full of harmonic contrasts. For example, the living room has modern design elements such as leather sofa by Ligne Roset or a Pantone chair. On the other side, the original Zanzibar door next to the entrance area underlines the rough character of the loft which together with the antique Brazilian secretary table which form a contrast to the modern design elements of the loft. The kitchen has been hand crafted and the Bose sound system is connected also to the bathroom. In contrast to the living room, the bedroom is minimalistically designed to allow a restful sleep by avoiding interference from electronic equipment as much as possible. The bathroom is not only functionally designed with a large tropical shower, but also a place to enjoy and relax. The extra long bathtub is specially designed to comfortably fit up to two persons enjoying the bath with dimmed lights and gentle music from the Bose sound system coming out of the ceiling. The loft is ideadlly suited for people who need or want to stay in Berlin for a longer period. The apprtment comes fully furnished, with all needed ammenities such as soap, towels, bed linen, etc. Regular clean up is not included, but can be arranged upon request. At rental start you will sign a time limited rent contract and deposit a guarantee payment of 3 months rental equivalent, which will be returned at the end of the rental period. By the way: A private parking space is included. However, we encourage to save CO2 by taking the bike which is included in your rent and waiting for you in the basement. As the loft is strategically located between Mitte and Kreuzberg, close to the Media Spree and with an excellent selection of shopping, schools and beach bars at the Spree river you really won't need to use the car too often.
