The viticulture domain Liszkay easily surpasses the old concept of the cellar. The integrated concept of wine tourism was the reason for the project initiated in 2001, when the lands around Balaton were integrated, into the modernization project. Until 2001, the village Monoszló was an unknown location, hidden, on the North side of Lake Balaton, but extremely attractive and full of potential. Picturesque surroundings of the village remind of the Mediterranean landscapes, otherwise both the soil and the climate are similar to those of the Italian shores, giving to the area the nickname of Hungary’s Tuscany. With a continuity coming from the Roman tradition, viticulture was always practiced on these lands, today existing a high and recognized worldwide standard in the wine production of the area. https://www.liszkay.com/en/
