Steps from this beautiful 5 bedroom Villa lead directly to one of the BVI's finest, most unspoilt white sand beaches. There are very few beaches in the world to match the spectacular natural beauty of Trunk Bay which remains an active turtle breeding beach. Located within the Parkers Estate Trunk Bay development on the North Shore of Tortola, the current owners chose very wisely when deciding on a location for their island dream home. Not only has Parker's Estate been the first choice development for anyone seriously considering building a luxury home on Tortola in the past few years, but this particular lot provides direct access to the beach and offers the best views in the entire development, out to Guana Island and all the way down the island chain to Virgin Gorda and Necker Island in the distance.
Comprising two separate pavilions connected by a central walkway and luxury infinity pool, Villa Aja is a two storey, five bedroom property (four king suites with ensuite bathrooms and one children's bedroom with two bunk beds). This modern villa is minimalist in style with clean lines and vibrant art deco colours of lime, blue and orange, combining modern furniture with an exquisite Indonesian tree-house layout. And all set within beautifully manicured, lush tropical gardens.
The fully equipped kitchen, a contemporary European design, offers state-of-the-art equipment and features, with all new stainless steel appliances including two dishwashers, a digital-touch control hob, unique stainless steel tiling and large fridge freezer, a wall of smooth steel. The extra high ceilings with exposed wooden beams provide a large open space, with suspended pendant light fixtures creating an ambiance by night. As well as being ultra stylish, the kitchen is practical in design, with a large centre island equipped with ice maker and plentiful cupboard space and conveniently connected to the living area for flexibility when hosting. The living area is built for entertainment with a 58" flat screen TV, indoor and outdoor music system, DVD player and sky dish. The lounge offers ample seating with a large L-shaped sofa and a long white bench to the side covered with vibrant cushions of lime-green, blue and orange. The whole side wall slides open, inviting the cool breeze in and a spectacular backdrop of the ocean and lush hills.
The first king bedroom/bathroom suite, Blue, sits a short walk from the main entertainment area. The room is aptly named - the idyllic scene from the large bedroom window offers a wash of aqua marine blues from the pool and the ocean all the way up to the typically cloudless sky. Across the walkway to the other side of the pool is the second bedroom suite, Mosaic, suitably named after the beautifully finished tiling in the bathroom, again in contemporary style with aqua-marine blues and greens which fill the shower and opens out onto a private wooden balcony with views across the bay, allowing you to shower peacefully with nature. The bedroom has its own private balcony and spectacular sea view. Next door you have the third suite, Sublime, with attached lime coloured bathroom and a wall of glass to the end. The sight and scent of lime lifts your spirits, coupled with delicate pebble flooring in the shower, which tickle the feet, your senses are awakened. This suite also has a private balcony with views of the sea and the poolside. On the lower level sits a fourth bedroom suite, Copper-tone, the most private of all the suites, with a large private balcony and some unique features inside, including art deco lamps, mock wooden tiling in the shower and the pebble finish floor to bring the outside in. Trunk Bay is centrally located on Tortola's North Shore with Road Town being only a ten minute hop over the hill, an easy drive to either the airport at Beef Island or the ferry to and from St Thomas at Soper's Hole, West End.
The property is fully managed and since its completion around four years ago, the Villa has consistently been booked in excess of 30 weeks per year and that figure is improving year on year. For those interested in rental income, it will be very difficult to find a BVI property that comes close to Villa Aja in this regard.
