Features retained from circa 1800 include the decorative plasterwork to ceilings, timber shuttering, window and door architraves and the original doors. There were major upgrading and restoration works in the 1950’s and features retained from these works include the terrazzo flooring in the stair hall and the ‘pink’ bathroom suite in the master bedroom suite. Recent restoration works have included re-roofing (circa 2008) and re-wiring and re-plumbing in circa 2016. Pleasantly positioned just inside the main entrance gates the gate lodge was completely renovated and extended in circa 2005.
