Villa Ottolenghi, architectural masterpiece of the past century, is located in Acqui Terme on the hill of Monterosso. The project was designed by Arturo Benvenuto Ottolenghi and his wife Herta von Wedekind zu Horst, they both decided to think of a structure where architecture, painting and sculpture and the surrounding landscape could cleverly match creating a gorgeous and harmonious fusion. Renowned architects such as Marcello Piacentini and other artists such as Arturo Martini, Fortunato Depero, Venanzo Crocetti took part in the project which is formed by various units. Among them the main villa which spreads over 3500sqm, the winery of 1600sqm, a monumental cistern, two swimming pools linked together, a tennis court and 8 ha of vineyards. The 20000sqm park called The Eden was designed by the architect Pietro Porcinai and in 2011 was defined as the most beautiful in Europe by European Heritage Garden Network.
