A house with an area of 450 sq. m., a lake, a 1 ha land plot with an impressive relief, a wonderful environment both indoors and outdoors - a home for a perfect life.
A modern house as if naturally emerging from the surrounding environment, very close to Vilnius, unique in its architecture, location, sophisticated interior and in harmony with surrounding nature, where the beauty of the environment is the main detail of the interior.
The shape of the house has been decided by the relief - it is as if it has emerged from the slope. The space is the first thing that can be felt. The two storeys of the 420 sq. m. house are next to each other: the volume of the private premises is focused on the hill, while the volume of the living quarters is focused on the base of the hill. Lighting plays a special role - the house has been designed so that the rising and falling sunlight would colour the entire premises. 3 bedrooms, sanitary units, a fitness room and premises for intelligent house management are located on the upper level of the house. The active living quarters are like an extension of the meadow outside - a moderate winter garden is cosily growing in the lounge. The relaxation area and the dining room are connected and, at the same time, separated by a majestic fireplace, that spreads heat in all four directions. The library has also been separated by an impromptu wall from the general area. A wine cellar located at the base of the hill gives off a natural sensation of the earth.
A dwelling-house, a SPA building on the shore of an artificial pond, as well as the entire land plot, have been designed so that one would experience the sights and views of nature, rather than one’s neighbours, and would feel a sense of privacy anywhere.
PHILOSOPHY:
This is a home for people who cherish their bond with nature, however, who are not subdued by it: all of the plants in the land plot are winter-hardy. A naturally renewable ecosystem has been created in the artificially designed pond.
