The Homestead at Lake Hayes is a stylish yet historic property renovated to the highest quality and located on a large private estate on the edge of Lake Hayes, Queenstown. Originally built in 1906 it has been lovingly restored by the owners as a project of passion and furnished with bespoke pieces from around the world. As you approach the property via the private driveway lined with 100-year-old giant Sequoia trees you will know you are headed some place special. On entering the Homestead you will feel at home amongst the many living spaces and will find it difficult to choose which room to relax in. The library at the front of the property hosts views across the manicured lawn and rose gardens out to the lake. The main living area of the home features a large Hamptons style kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge with a grand piano ideal for family gatherings and entertaining.
