You have an eighteen hole golf course, lakes you can sit and feed the ducks, shopping mall with bars and restaurants, a cinema, casino, a cycle path and many places to walk to including in both direction on the beach where there are many water sports. You can even climb aboard a catamaran and party, dive and snorkel along the North coast to Sosua. You have the main highway at the entrance where you can inexpensively, use public transport that passes every ten minutes that will take you to the historical town of Puerto Plata or the popular seaside resorts of Sosua and Cabarete and beyond. Then, you have the choice of many tours where the tour operator will collect you from the hotel.
After a day in the sunshine you will happily return to your apartment and just relax and maybe plan the next days excursion or simple sunbathe on the beach.
