Accessed also from this hall is the dining room, with its two low windows looking out to the garden and the study and beyond a utility room with the back door.
On reaching the first floor the four bedrooms are accessed from the good-sized landing (with a drop-down hatch to the boarded loft area). The master bedroom, with its windows on two sides, is a light and spacious room with access to a balcony and an ensuite bathroom. All the bedrooms are double rooms with one bedroom an ensuite offering a small bath and the others served by the family shower room.
From the drive, the house is approached through a brick arch flanked by the barn and workshop with the spire of St. Leonard’s Church as a back-drop. The garden is entirely enclosed by a high brick wall with a central lawn broken by the swimming pool and bounded by a low wall and herbaceous and shrub borders. To one side is a greenhouse and a timber garden shed.
A small arched entrance to the side gives access to the back door. The magnificent barn, divided and shared with the main house, is impressively timbered and through a back door, provides access to the pool pump room. The barn is accessed through an electrically operated rolling door.
Beyond the barn and on the other side of the drive is a two acre partly fenced paddock and kitchen garden which is available by separate negotiation.
