This has helped the population growth each of the last two decades by 17.2% and 4.3%. The adjacent Barren County grew 19.1% from 2000 to 2010 and 7% more by 2015. The 101 room hotel has standard size rooms from the originally built Hampton Inn which opened in 1998. The current owner has installed new room and hallway carpeting, 49” flat screen TVs, and all new mattresses and bedding. A Holiday Inn Express franchise agreement has been signed with IHG that will go into effect as soon as all Formula Blue PIP renovations are completed.
